Homemade Pork and Vegetable Dumplings

1/2KG GROUND PORK

1/4KG CABBAGE FINELY CHOPPED

2 STALKS SPRING ONION FINELY CHOPPED

1 CUP CORN KERNELS

5-6PCS SHITAKE MUSHROOMS FINELY CHOPPED

1TBSP SUGAR

1TBSP OYSTER SAUCE

1-2TBSP SOY SAUCE

1 TBSP CHINESE COOKING WINE

1 TBSP SESAME OIL

1 TSP CHICKEN SEASONING

1TBSP CORNSTARCH

WONTON WRAPPERS

WATER FOR SEALING THE WRAPPER

 

FOR DIPPING SAUCE

SOY SAUCE

RICE VINEGAR

CHILLI OIL

SESAME OIL

SESAME SEEDS

GINGER PASTE

GARLIC MINCED

 

NOTE*

YOU CAN FREEZE THE REST BY PLACING THE TRAY INSIDE THE FREEZER FOR 2-3 HOURS MAKE SURE ITS FROZEN BEFORE PLACING THE WONTONS INTO A ZIPLOCK BAG THEN BRING IT BACK TO THE FREEZER

 

FOR COOKING:

PAN FRIED

PLACE THE WONTON INTO THE PAN ADD A LITTLE BIT OF OIL AND 2TBSP OF WATER COVER IT AND COOK UNTIL ITS LIGHTLY BROWN AT THE BOTTOM FOR ABOUT 3-5 MINUTES

 

STEAMED

SLIGHTLY BRUSH THE STEAMER BASKET WITH SESAME OIL OR PLACE A CABBAGE LEAF OR A PARCHMENT PAPER ADD THE WONTONS PUT THE BASKET INTO THE STEAMER WITH BOILING WATER THEN STEAM THE WONTONS FOR 4-6 MINUTES
